Invisible Borders Trans-African Project is a long-term artistic and research initiative that has brought together artists, writers, filmmakers and researchers for over fifteen years in collaborative journeys across Africa.
🤝 About the collab
The 11th edition of the Invisible Borders Trans-African Road Trip is taking place from 10 October-26 November 2026 and invites creatives to apply to join.
This road-trip will take participants on a 6,800km journey from Marrakesh, Morocco to Lagos, Nigeria, following a coastal route through multiple countries.
The project welcomes artists from across the world, regardless of nationality, working in fields such as photography, writing, film, research, public space art, graffiti and related areas.
The open call deadline is 31 May 2026.
